Privacy notice

Last updated: 8 October 2026

Privaswap is a trading name of TDR Creations Ltd, company number 16816156. For support and privacy enquiries, contact info@privaswap.app.

Contact us about privacy at info@privaswap.app. This notice explains how we handle information when you use Privaswap to replace selected faces with fictional synthetic identities.

Information we process

We process account and contact details; uploaded videos and photos; detected faces and face-related technical data, including representations used to match faces within a clip; tracking, quality and moderation signals; selected replacements; generated results; generation history; payment and credit records; technical and security logs; support correspondence; and product-usage events.

Our payment processor handles payment-card details. We do not store full card numbers. Your browser stores a sign-in cookie and local information used to recover your current upload or job.

Face-related processing

We locate and track people within uploaded footage to apply the replacements you request. We do not operate a public facial-recognition database, use uploaded faces to authenticate users, or search for people across unrelated footage. Replacing a face does not guarantee anonymity: voices, clothing, surroundings and other details may still identify someone.

Why we use information

We use information to provide the service, manage accounts and credits, process payments, detect and track faces, prevent abuse and fraud, troubleshoot failures, secure the service, respond to support requests and understand product performance.

For account administration and providing your requested service, we rely on performance of our contract with you where applicable. We rely on legitimate interests for proportionate security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting and service improvement, subject to individuals’ rights. We rely on legal obligations where records must be kept or disclosed, and on consent where we specifically ask for it, such as optional use of eligible media for model improvement. Footage may depict people other than the account holder; you must have an appropriate legal basis or permission to submit and process it. Contact us to discuss processing involving sensitive personal information.

Customer footage and model improvement

Uploading footage does not automatically make it training data. Any use of eligible customer media for machine-learning development requires a separate, affirmative opt-in. This is optional and unticked by default. Minor-related and sensitive footage remains ineligible. Opting in does not override provider restrictions. You can withdraw permission through the swap controls or contact us.

Synthetic identities and safety

The replacement identities supplied in the library are fictional and synthetic. The standard service does not accept arbitrary real people as replacement identities. Sexual or intimate content is not supported in the current service. Safety checks can refuse or restrict processing; they can make mistakes and do not reliably establish everyone’s age. Legitimate identity-protection footage involving young people remains subject to additional restrictions.

Who we share information with

We share information needed to provide the service with cloud hosting and storage providers, specialist media-processing providers, payment processors, and account-email providers. Monitoring providers receive limited operational summaries, not your uploaded media. We may also share information with professional advisers or authorities where necessary to meet legal obligations or address security incidents.

Provider processing may occur outside the United Kingdom. Provider locations, contractual safeguards and retention arrangements differ; contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your request. Deleting media from Privaswap does not by itself confirm deletion of every provider copy.

Retention and security

During the current release, new uploads and results are kept until you delete them or ask us to delete them. Read our retention policy for details and exceptions. We use technical and organisational safeguards to protect information and restrict access. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access or correct your information, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, request portability, or withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully carried out. These rights are not absolute. Contact info@privaswap.app; we may need proportionate information to verify the request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office or your local supervisory authority.
